AAV5 Rep-Cap plasmid (serotype 5-specific AAV RC5 plasmids)

GeneMedi’s AAV5 Rep-Cap plasmid (serotype 5-specific AAV RC plasmid), also named AAV5-RC plasmid, or AAV-RC5 plasmid, is part of AAV5 packaging system. AAV5 Rep-Cap plamid supplies the AAV5 Rep (replication) proteins and the AAV5 capsid protein.

You can produce AAV5 paticle in 293T cell line in high titer using GeneMedi’s AAV5 Rep-Cap plasmid with GeneMedi’s AAV expression vector (overexpression or shRNA) and AAV helper plasmid.

The tissue tropism of AAV5 vector has been validated in neuron (CNS), retina, lung and pancreas, with potential applications in tissue-specific gene therapy.
