Introduction to CurePlasma
CurePlasma is a broad-spectrum anti-mycoplasma reagent. Cell cultures contaminated with mycoplasmas, such as M. arginini, M. fermentans, M. laidlawii, and M. hyorhinis can be efficiently cured by CurePlasma treatment. Many cell lines infected by mycoplasmas have been successfully treated with CurePlasma, including hybridomas, lymphocytes, epithelial cells, murine embryonic stem cells, and retrovirus packaging cells. It has been shown that treatment with CurePlasma restores cellular responses following mycoplasma clearance(Figure1). CurePlasma can be used as a routine addition in liquid media to prevent mycoplasma and more generally bacterial contamination in mammalian cell cultures. It can effectively cure mycoplasma contamination within two weeks, without affecting cell stemness, pluripotency nor viability.

Advantages
1. Effective with only one treatment, easily removed after the treatment.2. Long-lasting, successful elimination.3. Broad-spectrum anti-mycoplasma reagent, eliminates mycoplasma by directly killing.4. Active on both extracellular mycoplasmas and intracellular forms.5. Low cytotoxicity, will not cause undesirable side effects on eukaryotic cells.6. Will not lead to the development of resistant mycoplasma strains.
