Femto Signal Western ECL Substrate
Cat:R-ECLF
Introduction to Femto Signal Western ECL Substrate
The Femto Signal Western ECL Substrate is a hypersensitive ECL chemiluminescence kit produced by Genemedi for the detection of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) on immunoblots. It detects low-femtogram (mid-zeptomole) amounts of protein in bands on nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes when probed with appropriate primary and secondary antibodies. It is compatible with different membranes, blocking reagents, and a wide range of antibody dilutions making it an ideal choice for most western blotting applications.

Advantages
1. Femtogram sensitivity—detect femtogram amounts of target protein on nitrocellulose or PVDF membrane.2. High signal stability—incubated blots provide stable signal duration over the critical 4 hour time period with up to 24 hours of light output under optimal conditions.3. Stable reagent—kit components are stable for 1 year at 4°C or 6 months at room temperature.4. Economical—optimized for dilute antibody concentrations:· 1ng to 0.2 μg/mL primary antibody (1:5,000 to 1:100,000 dilution from 1μg/mL stock).· 2 to 10 ng/mL secondary antibody (1:100,000 to 1:500,000 dilution from μg/mL stock).5. Exceptional robustness—Low abundance target proteins that cannot be detected by conventional ECL substrates can be detected if substrate is used with optimized antibody concentration and block buffer.
