Potency validation of GeneMedi’s P24 antibody pairs in lentivirus-titration using sandwich ELISA

Lentiviral vectors are efficient vehicles for stable gene transfer in both dividing and non-dividing cells. This feature among others makes lentiviral vectors a powerful tool in molecular research. However, the use of lentiviruses in research studies and clinical trials requires a precise and validated titration method. Application development scientists of GDU (GeneMedi Diagnostics Unit) have developed antibody pair: anti-lentiviral p24 antigen mouse monoclonal antibody for quantitative detection of lentiviral particles titration.

Scientists of GDU have compared the lentivirus particle binding curve of our P24 antibodies (GMP-IVD-P005-Tg001-Ab01/GMP-IVD-P005-Tg001-Ab02) with other company’s. As is shown below, GeneMedi’s antibody pair has a larger linear range and better sensitivity. Besides, our antibody pair represents the best EC50.
